Operation

Loading

Bending mould and glass are loaded onto platform at loading area. Platform moves to area beneath heating chambers along rail tracks. Scissor elevator lifts up platform until platform closes bottom heating chamber and becomes part of the oven.

Heating

Glass starts to be heated up with all heating resistors turned on. When it becomes soft, it slowly falls down and approaches to bending mold by means of gravity. Operator begins to turn off proper heating resistors with respect to glass curvature until glass edges get in contact around the rim of bending mould.

Annealing

Glass begins to anneal at heating chamber. If necessary, platform descends gradually to allow annealing in a better and efficient way.

Cooling

When annealing is accomplished, platform descends to bottom position and moves to open area for cooling.

Unloading

When glass is cooled enough for handling, glass is unloaded and removed. Another glass is loaded on bending mould. If glass type is changed, bending mould is replaced by corresponding bending mould. Bending, annealing and cooling cycle are repeated.
