Operation Procedures

With Spacer Bars Bending Machine

  • Apply butyl tapes all the way on both sides of 5m or 6m straight spacer bars with IG-BTC butyl tape coating tool.
  • Bend or curve butyl coated straight spacer bars into requested shape with proper bending or curving machines.
  • Remove protective thin film of butyl tape.
  • Assembly spacer bars on insulated glass.
  • Press insulated glass with IG-HBPS pneumatic handheld butyl pressing & sealing tool with the help of rotating table. This tool is very helpful when you do not have rollers or panel pressing machine or you have but you do not want to use it due to high operating costs.

Without Spacer Bars Bending Machine

  • Cut straight spacer bars into requested lengths with spacer bar cutting machine.
  • If bendable corner keys are used, connect all straight spacer bars with bendable corner keys but leaving it linear with both ends unconnected. Run the linear spacer bars all the way in IG-BTC butyl tape coating tool.
  • If ordinary corner keys are used, do not connect spacer bars with corner key. Run all cut size unconnected straight spacer bars all the way one by one in IG-BTC butyl tape coating tool. Cut butyl tapes between two pieces of straight spacer bars.
  • Transforms spacer bars into its final shape by connecting both ends with bendable or ordinary corner key.
  • Remove protective thin film of butyl tape.
  • Assembly spacer bars on insulated glass.
  • Press insulated glass with IG-HBPS pneumatic handheld butyl pressing & sealing tool with the help of rotating table. This tool is very helpful when you do not have rollers or panel pressing machine or you have but you do not want to use it due to high operating costs.
