Suction Cups

Suction Cups Mounted on Working Table with Well Connected Vacuum Hoses

Suction cups are fix on working table. They are used to hold glass work pieces firmly in positions by vacuum. Vacuum hoses are connected to suction cups. Suction cups are freely re-positioned across working table according to sizes and shapes of glass work pieces. Suction cups are compulsory. If suction cups are not sufficient enough, re-positioning of suction cups may be required prior to next batch of glass with different shapes and sizes. Various sizes and types of suction cups are available on request.

Versatile Shapes & Sizes of Suction Cups Available for Various Applications Any Shapes & Sizes of Glass Held & Fix with Proper Suction Cups
  • Ø205mm
  • Ø172mm

Pneumatic Stoppers

Freely Re-Located Pneumatic Stoppers Register Glass in Position for Mass Production
  • Pneumatic stoppers are used to register glass work pieces positions on working table. They are placed and fix on proper positions of working table. Compress air hoses are connected to stoppers. Stoppers consists of a pop up component activated by compress air.
  • Usually 3 stoppers are good enough to identify position of a certain glass work piece. When glass is ready for loading, stoppers pop up by pneumatic with pop up components in same level of glass.
  • Glass is loaded on suction cups and is press against pop up components of stoppers. When glass is in position, pop up stoppers descends until glass edges are exposed. This would allow freely movement and processing of working head around glass edges.
  • Stoppers are particularly useful when many batches of same sizes and shapes of glass are processed for mass production. Once the first glass work pieces is correctly registered in positioned with the help of stoppers, loadings of subsequent glass work pieces become faster and easier.
  • Pneumatic stoppers are compulsory. If pneumatic stoppers are not sufficient enough, re-positioning of stoppers may be required prior to next batch of glass with different shapes and sizes.

Automatic Tool Sizes Measuring Device

Tool Sizes Measuring Device Automatically Calibrates & Compensates Aixs Motions
  • This tool size measuring device is to measure tool sizes vertically and horizontally. Length, thickness, diameter and height of tool shall be measured precisely.
  • Tools become wear and tear after processing. When tools is smaller in, for example, diameter, the tool shall not get in proper contact with glass. When tool is taken out from work station, tool size is measured by the device. The measuring data shall be feed back to computer. The computer calculates and regulates working head movement and thus, tool movement until it gets in adequate contact with glass work piece. This is known as automatic tool compensation or calibration.
  • Without this automatic tool measuring device, manual measurement or operator experience are required to estimate tool wear. However, either one may result in very poor compensation degree. Under estimation of too compensation may result in non-contact of tool with glass work piece. On the contrary, tool collision with glass work piece may happen when compensation is over estimated.
  • Due to, for example, human error, proper tool may not be placed at correct position in tool station. Automatic tool size measuring device also makes sure proper tools are put on right position on tool station. It prevents glass work piece, spindle, working head or other parts and components from colliding to each other due to operation of incorrect tooling.
  • Tool calibrating device can be operated every time when tool is taken out from tool station prior to processing. How frequent to calibrate the tools automatically can also be set according to necessity. For example, diamond tools may not be required for frequent tool size measuring due to slow erosion Polishing tools may be required frequent measuring due to comparatively fast erosion. Polishing tools are usually activated and regulated by pneumatic automatically. However, tool size measuring device can further regulate and compensate polishing wheel. Thus, polishing quality is highly increased.

Tool Shanks & Broaching Nuts

Tool Shank Collet Chuck with Broaching Nut for CNC Glass Working Centre Connecting Structure of Tool Shank with Spindle & Tool Longer Tool Shank Holds More Tools Minimizes Tool Changing Downtime
  • Tool shanks is something like a tool holder where tool is attached. Broaching nut is a protruded part screwed and fix on collet chuck attachment. Tool is always attached and fix on tool shank.
  • This assembly tool set is placed on tool station. When working head moves to tool station to pick up tool, it approaches to correct tool position which is already pre-set.
  • The spindle of working head has a female coupling. The female coupling moves and comes in contact with male like collet chuck and broaching nut until they are inserted and locked with female coupling with the help of compress air.
  • Tool station allows parking of totally 10 tools. It is usually recommend to have at least 10 sets of tool shanks and broaching nuts. Rest of them are for spare. If there are not enough tool shanks and broaching nuts, disassembly and assembly may be required every time when tools are replaced at tool station.
  • This option is compulsory.

Versatile Tools Available in Various Sizes & Application

Versatile tools for various applications & sizes are available on request.

Glass Beveling

Optional Glass Beveling of CNC Glass Working Center

It is an extra working head to hold beveling tools and wheels. It processes both exterior and interior beveling. Cerium oxide polishing is available.

Glass Cutting

Optional Glass Cutting of CNC Glass Machining Centre

It is an extra working head to hold circular diamond disc. It spins like a circular saw and cuts single pane glass, laminated glass or armour glass.

Glass Engraving

Optional Glass Engraving of CNC Glass Processing Centre

It is an extra working head to hold grooving tools and wheels. Groove polishing could also be applied.

Remote Control

Coil Cable Remote Control Manipulates Motion Axis Right Next to Working Center

On the keyboard of control cabinet, there are several buttons which are used to move each axis of the machine. When button is press, corresponding axis is moved until button is released. However, operator may be required to observe axis motions closely during operation. He is not next to control cabinet and he is unable to press axis motion buttons. This optional remote control is helpful in this situation. It is a handheld button controller with coil cable wiring to control cabinet. He manipulates axis motions with close observation by means of handheld remote control.

Vacuum System

It is used to create vacuum to hold glass work pieces firmly in positions on working table. It includes a 1.1 KW vacuum pump working at 1 MPa and a 0.3m3 air storage tank.

Air Compressor

One of major functions of compress air is to lock and unlock tool shanks and broaching nuts assembly with spindles of working heads. The 4 KW air compressor consumes 0.6m3/min air quantity at 0.8kg/cm2 air pressure.

Moisture Separator

Compress air powers the locking and unlocking of spindle with broaching nut and tool shank. Spindle, broaching nut and tool shank are high precision components. They must be maintained to run in perfect shape. Compress air should be free of moisture . Moisture separator is used to guarantee dry input air. The capacity of this 30 HP separator is 3.8 m3/min. Filter and filtration core are included.
