Glass Vacuum & Laminating Oven (Autoclave Free)

Overview

Principle

Laminate Sc silicon pad zphoto 100 complete

Glass lamination is done under vacuum and heating environment. Interlayer such as EVA film is sandwiched between two pieces of glass which is then wholly covered by silicon blanket. Heating and vacuum are applied. Interlayer begins soften and melt between layers of glass under vacuum. Silicon blanket provides a total sealed environment such that air bubbles trapped between glass layers are evacuated thoroughly during melting until no air left behind. After heating process is completed, cooling begins bringing melted interlayer to its original solid state. This cooling process induces glass bonding until glass layer and films become inseparable laminated glass body. This simple and operating friendly process requires no pressure and thus, no autoclave is necessary.
